Over 20 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant in both the public and private sectors and over 8 years as an Expat. With industry experience in, among others, real estate, healthcare, oil & gas, transportation and retail/wholesale industries. Graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor's and master’s degrees in accounting. Able to fluently read, write, and speak both Spanish and English. Proudly served in the US Airforce.
MJ Jawad, CPA
Experienced Equity Partner and Certified Public Accountant with a demonstrated history of working with local and foreign businesses. Skilled in Finance and Accounting, People Management, Management, Business Process Improvement, and Auditing. Strong entrepreneurship professional with a master’s degree focused in Accounting and Finance from Stephen F. Austin State University.
Katya G. Mendoza
BS Degree in Accounting. Over 10 years of working experience in accounting, payroll processing and reporting and Federal and State Taxes. Knowledgeable with both Mexican and US accounting/tax standards and regulations. Responsible for supervising, training, mentoring and providing guidance to the firm’s accounting staff. Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Desktop versions and Microsoft Office 365 suite of products. Able to fluently read, write, and speak both Spanish and English.

Staff Accountant and Payroll Specialist
Payroll specialist responsible for onboarding client companies and executing the payroll process using ADP’s Run platform. Experience with processing the State of Texas’ sales tax returns. Knowledgeable with QuickBooks Desktop version and Microsoft Office 365 suite of products. Louisiana native; mother of three; enjoys outdoors, spending time with family, & Cajun cooking.
Currently responsible for the firm’s supervision, achievement of the work scopes, and process improvement. Incorporates seven years of administrative and management experience. Bilingual Spanish and English. Graduated from Guadalajara University with a bachelor’s degree in Financial and Systems Administration with a master’s degree from Monterrey Technology Institute (ITESM) in Applied Public Management.
